Each week (when I haven’t been a horrible blogger) I summarise my tweets in a blog post. Unfortunately, I’ve been a horrible blogger so, instead, here are my tweets from the latter half of July. (By the way,\u00a0follow me on Twitter<\/a>!)<\/p>\n

Tweet of the Week<\/strong><\/p>\n

Unfortunately, this article isn’t really long or detailed, but perhaps that’s part of its appeal! \u00a0Science Daily published an\u00a0article\u00a0called: “Dog-associated house dust protects against respiratory infection linked to asthma<\/a>“. It provides clues why kids that live in homes with pets seem to have less risk of developing asthma. Cool, eh?<\/p>\n

Pet Rescue and Pet Sheltering<\/strong><\/p>\n

Heading for Home (a Victorian rescue group) wrote a blog post called “The myth of the “irresponsible public”<\/a>” which asks if you (as the public) are really that irresponsible… A positive approach to the rescue effort is necessary.<\/p>\n

The examiner does some mythbusting on\u00a0the lie of pet overpopulation<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Further mythbusting:\u00a0Only 2% of dogs die in shelters yearly<\/a>.<\/p>\n
