It\u2019s a long post! So make sure you grab a coffee and prepare yourself for some serious reading.<\/p>\n<p>Before we start, I thought I&#8217;d share a video of my new chicken, Eveready, laying an egg. I recycled a shelf from a friend to fashion this nesting box and, as I put in in the coop, before I had a chance to level it, Eveready was in and fussing. So I spent 10 minutes sitting on the floor of the chicken coop filming this. They joined us a week ago and I love them heaps already.<\/p>\n<p>Now! On with the tweets:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tweet of the Week<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, I took the course &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coursera.org\/course\/theriogenology\">Canine Theriogenology for Dog Enthusiasts<\/a>&#8216; and loved it. \u00a0They are now running the course again (thought longer &#8211; 8 week course this time), starting in October. \u00a0I highly recommend it. \u00a0And great value as it&#8217;s free! \u00a0No gimmicks, just awesome free online education about dog reproduction. \u00a0Even if you just sign up to watch the lectures it&#8217;ll be worth it &#8211; I promise.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dog Breeds and Breeding<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is a close second to the tweet of the week: <a href=\"http:\/\/rufflyspeaking.net\/the-scandal-of-marketing-purebred-dogs\/\">The scandal of marketing purebred dogs<\/a>.
