Clover is my second border and my first bitch. She is exactly what I wanted in terms of temperament – active and game. She is a huge joy to live with and never fails to raise a human smile every day. She has the nickname of “Beans” because she is full of beans.

Clover’s main interestes are water, tennis balls and people. We have been working our our obedience skills, and have enjoyed earthdog and tracking over the past year.

This bitch has a lovely tight and coarse coat, and is of correct size. She is spannable and weighs 6kg.

A huge thank-you to Clare & Diana (Burrowa Border Terriers) for entrusting me a pup from Rennick’s (Ch Conundrum Sweet Sir Galahad [Imp UK]) first litter in Australia.

Racy feminine bitch with good dark eye and small v shaped ears. She has a straight front with the required racy hindquarters. Althought she lost her topline a little on the move, she still looked as though she could work all day. She has a good coat with a good pelt easily spannable. Please to award her Australian Bred in Show.

 

 

Key Achievements

 

14th May 2011 – Gained a pass on her test 3 track, under Josie Miller, to be awarded her Tracking Dog title.

October 2010 – Was awarded ‘Earthdog of the Year 2010’ by the Border Terrier Club of NSW.

12th September 2010 – Gained her final pass in Senior Earthdog to give her this title. Awarded by Lynne Leopold (SA) at the Earthdog Committee of SA’s test.

17th October 2009 – Achieved her Champion title at 25 months of age under Mrs G Lesh (NSW) at Mildura District Kennel Club.

1st August 2009 – Was awarded BOB over esteemed dogs at South Districts Kennel & Obedience Club’s Championship Show. This was follow by a RuBIG and an Intermediate in Group win. Judge was Mrs K Fergusson (NSW).

8th June 2009 – Achieved her first title, that of Novice Earthdog, under Mrs Ingrid Kruger (Vic) in Victoria.

Feb 2009 – Was awarded bitch challenge at the Canberra Royal Show under Mrs Rosemary Shoreman (Canada, Roschel Border Terriers). This win was over esteemed, seasoned border terriers and was achieved at just 15 months of age.
